It has been so hot lately. My brain is like mud.
All I've gotten done today is going to the store and doing what seems like endless dishes. But Dh promises we can go out for dinner.
One piece of news! Babykins has said "Mama" for the first time. Oh! I hate how they grow up so fast!
How about some goofy kid pics?

When it hit 100 degrees here today I thought I'd just lose it...this is SO not my kind of weather, I tell ya.

My "babykins" will only say "dog". Oh, and "hi" if she feels like it.

She's almost 15 months old, and she's a GIRL for heaven's sake!

Well, friends tell me that I should be grateful - there will come a day when my spunky little firecracker will be talking up a storm and I'll wonder why I was wondering. I suppose they're right.

Stay cool, friend.

Mrs Darling-We do have a box unit in our bedroom so the upstairs isn't so bad. (Maybe that's why I've been playing too much Beetle Bomp on the computer...) But if I want to get anything done (and we are having those fellowship meetings this weekend so I have got to get the house clean.) I have to go down to the tropical areas...

mamak-I am so with you on the weather. I am NOT a hot weather person.

I've had later talkers too. This baby seems a little more aggressive in his development. Actually, he kind of reminds me of Owen....

oh oh another Owen! Are you prepared? LOL

Glad to hear you have a place to go to cool off. Luckily its suppose to be much cooler this weekend when your company comes.

Mrs Darling-I'm scared. But at least this time I won't be so caught off guard.

Lyn-In my "village" nobody will ever need AC...

Dear Kerri,
Does your older daughter blog at all? I have 15-year old and 14-year old daughters who blog. They are reformed Christians, and were homeschooled until just this last year.

If you want to check out their blogs, the links on my blog are Cadet and Lydia.
