This has been about the busiest summer we have ever had. I have started to post a few times, but then get called to do something else, put it in drafts, and by the time I come back it seems outdated.
We went to visit friends at the coast for the 4th. Here's Owen looking mighty pleased with his hotdog...

There was a lot of smoke owing to the multitude of campfires and illegal fireworks. That is, illegal in Oregon, but not in Washington, which makes the law rather mute. I think babykin's eyes are bothering him a little.

There was a birthday party for Grandma...

A wedding...

None of those kids are mine, but I thought that was a pretty nice picture of Luke doing a back flip.. Or something..

Softball games, and water ballon fights following...

A birthday party for Elisa..

Whew.. And there were a couple other birthday parties that we didn't get pictures at.. It's been a good summer. It gets hot for a couple days at a time and then cools off, Hubby has been working on remodeling the bathroom, the yard is starting to take shape the way I want it too, all in all there's a lot to be thankful for.

What has your summer been like?

Great pics! I love the wedding dress. Your baby is too sweet!

Our summer has been good and busy till now that is. With dh going away, it suddenly feels over somehow, but I'm sure we'll fight off the depression in a few days have keep having a good summer. I have a double b'day party planned for the princess and boy4 in 2 weeks. Should be fun.

Loved the pics. Can't believe how big your baby looks!

We are having a really busy summer too. Lots of daycamps and social events. I think about last year at this time when we were in the frenzy of moving, and then arriving here and being so lonely. This summer is very different. Too busy for me, though, even if it is all good stuff. Not enough hammock time.

Hi, Kerri,

I enjoyed all your lovely, summery family photos.

Yup. We're busy, too, and thankful for a full yet relaxing summer.

Today I worked at our church fund-raising-for-youth-booth at the Lynden Raspberry festival, selling Polish sausage meals. All those hours of standing are hard on the old knees. :P It was a beautiful day, though (no rain), enjoyed by all. :)

I believe I know that lovely bride! I heard it was really HOT that day.

Looks like a fun time at the beach...I wish it were closer, funny how I took that for granted.

Hey a post from you! If I didn't get to see you every week, I would be miffed in not hearing about life in your house. :)

We're not very busy this summer. I'm not sure why? Just doing normal stuff. About ready to go berry picking in this nice cool weather!
